Outside Sales — Regional Sales Manager

Tempco Electric Heater Corporation, located in the Chicago suburb of Wood Dale adjacent to O’Hare Field, is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom industrial electric heating elements, temperature sensors, temperature controllers and turnkey process heating systems. We have been serving national and international industrial and commercial OEM and MRO markets since 1972.

Due to our continuous product growth and the expansion of our US manufacturing capabilities, we presently have available an excellent regional sales opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated professional. The selected candidate will manage all territorial sales activities within this four state area. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining professional relationships with existing customers as well as growing the business in the territory. You will also provide promotional support and product training to local distributors.

A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years related technical sales experience in one or more of the noted or similar industries (i.e. industrial electric heating elements, temperature sensors, temperature controllers process heating systems) is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. An office in a major North Carolina city is preferred with travel throughout the territory required. Initial and periodic training will take place at corporate headquarters in Wood Dale, Illinois.
