Sales Engineer

Electric Heater Corporation, located in the Northwest suburbs of
Chicago, is an innovative manufacturer of custom-engineered electric
heating elements, temperature sensors and temperature controls serving
diverse industrial and commercial markets. Our products are sold
nationally and internationally through a network of sales
representative and distributors. Due to our continuous growth and
recent change in strategic direction, we have an exciting opportunity
for an aggressive Territorial Sales Engineer in your area who can
build on our over 30-year history of success.
As a member of our sales team your responsibilities are to:

Provide administrative and technical services to all direct customer
accounts in an assigned territory
-
Develop, establish and implement strategies to meet sales objectives
for established and new accounts
-
Communicate and cooperate with support departments to build a team
approach for meeting sales objectives and
customer satisfaction
-
Make
recommendations for new products and new markets
-
Provide product training to sales representatives and customers
-
Maintain a summary of customer profiles and activities
-
Provide weekly and quarterly reports on sales-related activities,
accounts, market analyses and competitive summaries
-
Participate in trade shows
-
Follow-up and report on potential sales leads
-
Plan
travel schedules efficiently to meet quarterly sales goals
Requirements:
-
Bachelor degree; engineering or business preferred
-
Minimum of 3 -5 years as sales rep or sales engineer with
demonstrated success
-
Outside sales experience working for a manufacturer of industrial
goods, preferably electro-mechanical components and/or other
products sold to OEM accounts
-
General engineering knowledge and the ability to read Auto-CAD
drawings
-
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, and technical
aptitude

Must
have a customer service focus and a professional demeanor
