Duraband Mica Insulated Band Heaters

Duraband Heaters are available in one-piece, two-piece and E X P A N D A B L E construction.

Two-piece construction uses a Built-In Hinge to keep both halves together making handling and installation easier. Recommended for large diameter cylinders or when one-piece units cannot be slipped into place.

Duraband with the E X P A N D A B L E design feature allows for the heater to be opened once for installation over the barrel without causing internal damage to the windings.

The Duraband clamping mechanism is a unique design consisting of a low thermal expansion BUILT-IN STRAP providing greater clamping action than separate straps or bent-up flanges (ears).
