Southern Heat Corporation was founded in 2005 by Tony Evans and Jason Reed. The fraternity brothers and best friends originally met at Kennesaw State University while working towards Engineering degrees. Upon graduating, Tony and Jason were hired by the same company to provide maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies to the Plastics Industry. After 8 years in the industry, the two friends developed a vision for starting their own business:

Treat the customer according to the golden rule
Treat the employees like family
Only sell products that allow us to sleep well at night
MAKE LOTS OF SALES CALLS

With a strong foundation and the expertise of Tony’s wife, Dede Evans - a business accountant and consultant – on August 8th, 2005 Southern Heat was incorporated in a basement in Cartersville, GA. You can imagine the chaos involved with running a business out of a basement. Following exponential growth in the first year, in 2006 Southern Heat Corporation moved to its present location in Cartersville, GA. Tony and Jason often look back on those years fondly – as great times!!

As business grew, Southern Heat hired more employees and carried more product lines. We pride ourselves on the family that we have built – it has really been a team effort. And, with a great team and great partnerships, 16 years later we still sleep very well at night.
